Sparked by the process of photosynthesis, MIT Professor Dan Nocera is looking to create electricity by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen.  The oxygen then feeds a fuel cell in order to generate power.  His start up company, Sun Catalytix, may be very close to a breakthrough.
